The points from the regatta including the drop race as prescribed in the SI’s divided by 3 will be the total each athlete has at the end of the event. The other trials will be in 2009. If any athlete finishes in the top 3 at the Open Nationals, they automatically qualify for the Canada Games for SK. If 2 boats finish in the top 3 at the Open Nationals then we will go back to closed SK trials.

Note: It is important that athletes ensure their boat is dependable , and will not break down. YMP, Yacht Materially Prejudice as prescribed in the RRS, Racing Rules of Sailing, is the only recourse. This is based on an action by a boat violating the RRS.
