About Sask Sailing

The Saskatchewan Sailing Clubs Association (Sask Sailing) serves to promote all forms of sailing within the province of Saskatchewan. We do this through our Mobile Sailing School programs, Club Assistance programs and the Provincial Racing Team. Additionally, we provide a link between Saskatchewan sailors and Sail Canada, sailing’s national governing body.

Learn to sail

Yes, it’s possible to sail in Saskatchewan and you can do it too! Each year, our mobile sailing school travels from club to club teaching people of all ages, genders and physical ability levels.

Serious about sailing?

Each year, sailing clubs across Saskatchewan and out of province host regattas for new and experienced racers. Racing is a great way to take your sailing skills to the next level and maybe get your name on a trophy in the process! Visit the racing page to find a regatta near you.
Do you have a young sailor in your life who is looking to compete at a provincial or a national level? The Sask Sailing Squad and the Sask Sailing Team are great ways to build up your child’s sailing abilities and have a fun summer outdoors!

Member clubs

While you can sail in most of the beautiful Saskatchewan lakes--provided you are able to get there and launch your boat--joining a sailing club is a great way to get involved in the local sailing community, learn how to race and socialize with like-minded people.
